Smart Monitoring

Your calendar stays current automatically.

ConxHub monitors each of your sources and learns how active they are. Busy sources — a parks and rec department that posts new programs every week, or an arts center with a rotating schedule — get checked more often. Quieter sources get checked less. Your update capacity is always working where it matters most.

Every plan includes enough monthly updates to keep a fully active community calendar fresh, five days a week. As you add sources or your community grows more active, you'll see that reflected in your dashboard — and we'll let you know if it's time to add more capacity.

The Value

What does a ConxHub subscription actually buy you?

Let's be direct about it. There are free ways to aggregate events — you could maintain a Google Sheet, ask organizations to email you updates, or manually check 25 websites every week. Some chambers do exactly that.

Here's what that looks like in practice:

  • A part-time staff member spends 4–6 hours a week checking sources, copying event details, and updating the calendar
  • Events still get missed because some organizations update their sites irregularly
  • The calendar is always slightly behind — registration deadlines pass before anyone notices
  • When staff turnover happens, the institutional knowledge of which sources to check goes with them

For a flat monthly subscription, CommunityConx handles all of that automatically, around the clock, without forgetting a source or taking a vacation.

The question isn't whether the subscription is affordable. It's whether 4–6 hours of staff time per week — plus the inevitable gaps — is a better use of your budget than automating it.

Most customers tell us they recouped the annual cost in the first month — not from revenue, but from staff hours redirected to work that actually requires a human.

How We Fit

Already have association management software? Good. Keep it. Here's how CommunityConx fits alongside.

Chamber software — the platforms that manage your memberships, renewals, directories, and internal event registration — are built around one model: your members and staff push data in, and the platform organizes it.

That model works perfectly for what it's designed for. It falls apart the moment you ask it to represent your entire community — not just your members.

What your current platform does well

  • Membership database and dues management
  • Internal event registration and ticketing
  • Member directory and business listings
  • Email campaigns to your membership
  • Committee management and governance

What it was never designed to do

  • Find events that non-members are running in your community
  • Monitor local organization websites and extract event details automatically
  • Keep a calendar current without someone submitting to it
  • Distribute a live event feed to partner websites via embed
  • Capture the library, the VFW, the school fundraiser, the arts center — automatically

What CommunityConx adds

CommunityConx handles the discovery layer — the part your current platform assumes someone else will do. It doesn't touch your member data, your dues process, or your event registrations. It does the one job that every other tool in your stack quietly skips.

Think of it this way: your association management platform is your membership CRM. CommunityConx is your community antenna. They do different jobs. You need both.

Common Questions

Questions we get before the first invoice

Population reflects the size and complexity of your community’s organizational ecosystem — the number of schools, nonprofits, businesses, and civic groups whose events you’d want to capture. Larger communities have more of them, and that’s what drives the work ConxHub does on your behalf.
Any public website ConxHub monitors for new events — a parks department, a library, a chamber member’s event page, a local arts center, a school district calendar. You choose which sources to include; ConxHub handles the rest.
Each time ConxHub visits one of your sources to check for new or changed events, that counts as one update. Your plan’s monthly total reflects how many of those checks happen across all your sources. The system allocates them automatically based on how active each source is.
You’ll see it coming in your dashboard. ConxHub will flag when you’re approaching your limit and recommend either upgrading your plan or adding update capacity. Your calendar won’t go dark without notice.
Yes. Most customers start with their 10–15 most active sources and expand from there. Your plan’s source count is a ceiling, not a requirement.
Yes — annual plans save 20% and are paid upfront. Monthly billing is also available, and every plan includes a 30-day free trial with no credit card required.
